Seguiram-se logo traduções para francês, 1547, latim, 1551, italiano, 1556 e inglês, 1569.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRomance bizantino que narra as provações de Teágenes e Caricleia, um casal que enfrenta naufrágios, raptos e perigos no Mediterrâneo para preservar seu amor.
