Foi instrutor de pilotagem e de navegação aérea na Escola de Aeronáutica Militar; Subdirector das Oficinas Gerais de Material Aeronáutico. He was a flight and air navigation instructor at the Military Aeronautics School and Deputy Director of the General Aeronautical Equipment Workshops.
