Moisés é representado sentado na parte superior ao centro, empunhando uma vara e com as tábuas da Lei, uma em cada mão, com inscrições em latim relativas às palavras dirigidas por Deus a Moisés e aos Dez Mandamentos. Por baixo de Moisés, ao centro, está o título da obra que assenta sobre um embasamento onde está representado Moisés transmitindo ao povo as suas últimas disposições conforme é referido no Deuteronómio e toda esta parte central está enquadrada por duas colunas com dois medalhões pendurados de cada lado com representações de cenas dos quatro primeiros livros do Pentateuco. O conjunto é encimado por dois Querubins que adoram a Deus representado pelo Tetragrama Divino em caracteres hebraicos e rodeado pelos símbolos dos quatro evangelistas.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eImpressão muito nítida sobre papel de linho, com as partes da Bíblia em texto corrido e com os comentários e os índices dispostos em duas colunas. Está ornamentado com uma inicial com Cristo na dedicatória, um cabeção com o trigrama sagrado ao centro na página 1, iniciais decoradas ao longo do texto, florão de remate, jarra com flores na página 914 e belos florões de remate alegóricos nas páginas 333 e 610.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExemplar em que foram usados fragmentos de páginas de um livro de cantochão para reforçar a união dos cadernos no pé e à cabeça. Apresenta as margens das primeiras folhas, até à página 4, laceradas afectando o canto inferior direito do frontispício gravado e com as últimas folhas laceradas com perda de papel e algum texto nas duas últimas folhas do índice. Foi professor das Sagradas Escrituras na Universidade de Lovaina e no Colégio Romano em Roma desde 1616 até ao ano do seu falecimento. Moses is depicted seated at the top centre, wielding a rod and holding the tablets of the Law, one in each hand, with Latin inscriptions relating to the words addressed to Moses by God and the Ten Commandments. Below Moses, in the centre, is the title of the work, which rests on a base depicting Moses communicating to the people his last provisions as mentioned in Deuteronomy, and the whole of this central part is framed by two columns with two medallions hanging on each side depicting scenes from the first four books of the Pentateuch. The whole is surmounted by two Cherubim worshipping God represented by the Divine Tetragrammaton in Hebrew characters and surrounded by the symbols of the four evangelists.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVery clear printing on linen paper, with the parts of the Bible in continuous text and with the commentaries and indexes arranged in two columns.
