Preserva uma fita marcadora em tecido azul e inclui folhas de guarda decorativas e os cortes das folhas carminados.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIlustrado na folha de rosto com uma belíssima xilogravura das armas de Carlos Emanuel III da Sardenha. Apresenta alguns cabeções formados por finos filetes ornamentados.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMagnífico exemplar apresenta na lombada um segundo rótulo com a inscrição «Tom-III» muito provavelmente por ter sido encadernado conjuntamente numa colectânea de diferentes obras sobre o mesmo assunto.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuas partes num só volume, cada uma com paginação própria.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEdição bilingue com o texto disposto em duas colunas, encontrando-se o italiano na coluna do lado esquerdo e o francês na do direito. Reúne as Constituições e Regulamentos Reais para a Universidade de Turim estabelecidas por Carlos Emanuel III com o objetivo de renovar a ordem da Universidade, já reformada por Victor Amadeus II em 1720 e de forma mais sistemática em 1729.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs Constituições perfazem a primeira parte da obra e nelas são revistos, por ordem descendente, os órgãos de governo e os funcionários (Magistrado da Reforma, Grão-Chanceler-Mor, Reformadores, Censor, Assessor, Secretário, Reitor, Decanos das Faculdades, Professores, Faculdades, Colégios, Colégio das Províncias, Prefeito da biblioteca, Diretor do Museu, Tesoureiro, Licitador e outros servidores), descrevendo as suas prerrogativas, papéis e funções; e estabelecidos os direitos e privilégios dos estudantes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eO sistema eletivo e as funções do Reitor mantêm-se conforme a reforma de 1729. São confirmadas as quatro Faculdades de Teologia, Direito, Medicina e Filosofia, Matemática e Artes. A direção de cada uma delas é assegurada por um decano. As Constituições indicam a duração dos cursos para cada Faculdade e resumem os programas de estudo. Em cada Faculdade existe um Colégio, que supervisiona o bom funcionamento e a atribuição de graus académicos.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eÉ dedicado um amplo espaço às Escolas fora da Universidade, em Turim, destinadas exclusivamente ao ensino pré-universitário da Gramática, das Humanidades e da Retórica. Nas capitais das províncias, prevê-se também o ensino da Filosofia, da Teologia e da Cirurgia e mesmo da Jurisprudência.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eO Magistrado da Reforma elaborou o Regulamento para a Universidade de Turim, a fim de aplicar as Constituições ordenadas por Carlos Emanuel III, constituindo o mesmo a segunda parte da obra. Tal como no Regulamento de 1729, a educação moral e espiritual é colocada na base da educação dos jovens, que são obrigados a assistir, pelo menos, a uma das duas missas diárias no oratório da Universidade, uma antes e outra depois das aulas, bem como às liturgias dos dias festivos, sob pena de não poderem obter graus académicos.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTal como acontece com as cerimónias religiosas, os estudantes são obrigados a frequentar as aulas, o que é comprovado por certificados a entregar periodicamente ao Secretário da Universidade, condição para a admissão aos graus.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eO Regulamento também regula em pormenor as escolas dependentes da Universidade, situadas nas Províncias, uniformizando os seus programas e dando indicações para a realização das aulas e dos exercícios espirituais.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEm conformidade com as Constituições, os Regulamentos regulam pontualmente o desenrolar dos exames, indicando para cada Faculdade os procedimentos e as matérias a examinar, de forma a se obter os diversos graus académicos; assim como as contribuições a pagar pelos estudantes para a realização dos mesmos. São também descritas as funções do Secretário da Universidade, dos Substitutos e de todos os empregados da Secretaria, do Tesoureiro, dos Assistentes da Biblioteca e do Museu e dos Repetidores de Filosofia, sem esquecer os Empregados de Limpeza, os Tocadores de Sinos e os Porteiros.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA cadência das aulas e das férias é igualmente regulamentada e é especificado o método de eleição do Reitor, que se realiza todos os anos a 20 de novembro, dia em que se comemoram os mártires patronos de Turim: \u003cem\u003eAvventore\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eOttavio\u003c\/em\u003e e \u003cem\u003eSolutore\u003c\/em\u003e. São igualmente estabelecidas disposições sobre o vestuário do Reitor, dos professores e dos secretários, que variam consoante a faculdade. The tools are framed within the bands, adorned with detailed plant motifs, with the title engraved on the red label and the indication \"Tom-III\" on the brown one. In the provincial capitals, provision is also made for the teaching of Philosophy, Theology and Surgery and even Jurisprudence.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Magistrate of the Reform drew up the Regulations for the University of Turin, in order to apply the Constitutions ordered by Charles Emmanuel III, making up the second part of the work. As in the Regulations of 1729, moral and spiritual education is placed at the basis of the education of young people, who are obliged to attend at least one of the two daily Masses in the University oratory, one before and one after classes, as well as liturgies on festive days, under penalty of not being able to obtain academic degrees.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs with religious ceremonies, students are obliged to attend classes, which is proven by certificates to be handed in periodically to the University Secretary, a condition for admission to degrees.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Regulation also regulates in detail the schools dependent on the University, located in the Provinces, standardising their programmes and giving indications for the conduct of classes and spiritual exercises.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn accordance with the Constitutions, the Regulations punctually regulate the conduct of the examinations, indicating for each Faculty the procedures and subjects to be examined in order to obtain the various academic degrees, as well as the contributions to be paid by the students for the examinations. The duties of the University Secretary, the Substitutes and all the employees of the Secretariat, the Treasurer, the Library and Museum Assistants and the Philosophy Repeaters are also described, not forgetting the Cleaners, the Bell Ringers and the Porters.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe schedule of classes and holidays is also regulated and the method of electing the Rector is specified, which takes place every year on 20 November, the day on which the patron martyrs of Turin are commemorated: \u003cem\u003eAvventore\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eOttavio\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eSolutore\u003c\/em\u003e. Provisions are also laid down on the clothing of the Rector, professors and secretaries, which vary according to the faculty.
