Jerónimo Ragazono, Bispo de Nanzianzeno, no encerramento do Concílio, em 1563.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eObra destinada à divulgação dos decretos, cânones e bulas promulgados pelo Concílio de Trento entre um vasto público com poucos conhecimentos de latim. Com esse fim, no texto original são intercaladas as traduções de expressões e mesmo palavras isoladas, com a tradução portuguesa à letra (ordo verborum - pela ordem das palavras) de cada palavra do original. Esta técnica de apresentar as traduções foi muito usada desde o século XVI ao XVIII, continuou a ser usada em meios escolares até ao século XX, e possibilitava uma aproximação muito pormenorizada ao texto original.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eO Concilio de Trento foi um dos mais importantes da Igreja Católica e o mais influente na definição da doutrina do Catolicismo desde o século XVI até aos nossos dias. As suas sessões dividiram-se em três períodos: Tiveram início em 13 de Dezembro de 1545 até 1548. Durante o 2º Período (1551 a 1552) foram realizadas 6 sessões e por fim no 3º Período foram realizadas 9 sessões em 1562 e 1563.
