Numerosas notas coevas manuscritas em português, nas margens das folhas e em folhas inseridas entre as folhas impressas.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePrimeira edição, rara, do primeiro manual de física experimental editado em Portugal, que recolhe as lições proferidas pelo autor enquanto foi professor na Universidade de Coimbra.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eObra valiosa e importante pelo seu conteúdo cientifico, pela coleção de estampas e por ter nas 112 páginas finais do terceiro volume um catálogo descrevendo 592 instrumentos, que Dalla Bella reuniu no laboratório de física, por ele constituído nas instalações do antigo colégio dos Jesuítas, em Coimbra e que deu origem ao Museu de Física da Universidade de Coimbra.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGiovanni Antonio Dalla Bella (Pádua 1730-1823) Professor de física e matemática veio para Portugal, a convite do Marquês de Pombal, ensinar no Colégio dos Nobres em 1767 e foi transferido para a Universidade de Coimbra em 1772, onde ensinou até 1790. Além desta importante obra escreveu tratados sobre agronomia e foi o precursor da descoberta da lei das acções magnéticas.
