As anteriores edições foram publicadas em Coimbra, 1646; Lisboa, 1667 e Lisboa, 1680. Bento em Portugal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNas folhas preliminares contém os calendários dos santos e das festas de Cristo e da Virgem Maria celebradas em cada mês, calendário dos domingos, dos profetas e das antífonas, com explicações. It is decorated on the centre of title page with an engraving of St. Benedict, and an end fleuron on the verso of the last folio.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe copy presents a small bookworm hole from the front board through page 76 with no text loss.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis might be the 4th edition of this very rare book. There are no copies registered in the Portuguese National Library. The former editions were published in 1646 in Coimbra; 1667 in Lisbon; and 1680 also in Lisbon. Later there were published other editions in 1739 and 1759.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis book contains the services to be carried out during the canonical hours of each day and are related with the saints of the Order of St. Benedict in Portugal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe preliminary leaves contain the calendars of the saints and the festivities of Christ and of the Virgin Mary celebrated each month; the calendar of Sundays, of the prophets, and of the antiphons, all with explanations.
