EmpresÃ¡rio, bibliotecÃ¡rio, jurista, impressor e livreiro. Entre 1515 e 1519 em parceria com Jacques Le Messier. Parte de seu material inicial deriva da oficina de Jean Barbier, que faleceu em 1515 ou 1516 e parece ter passado para Guillaume Bozossel em 1523. Pode ter usado material de Josse Badius, para quem ele imprimiu vÃ¡rios livros. Nicolas BÃ©rauld, que foi o editor e conselheiro associado Ã  imprensa dos sucessores de Jean Barbier, continuou a trabalhar com Jean II Du PrÃ©. A sua oficina tinha o seguinte endereÃ§o em latim: In vico Olearum (ou Poretarum ) contra Collegium Cluniacense , ad intersignium Sancti Sebastiani (rue des PorrÃ©es, Ã  lâ€™enseigne saint SÃ©bastien), ou seja, no Bairro dos azeiteiros, em frente ao ColÃ©gio de Cluny, na marca do impressor com S. SebastiÃ£o.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eO Mosteiro de Santa Cruz foi uma das mais importantes casas religiosas de Portugal, tendo desempenhado um papel fundamental na formaÃ§Ã£o do Reino de Portugal recebeu numerosos privilÃ©gios e direitos de D. Afonso Henriques (que estÃ¡ sepultado na capela-mor juntamente com D.
